BET Method surface area analysis has determined the effective surface area of  Bio Media Pro to be in the range of 2250m2 / litre, far surpassing other biological medias in the market.

The properties of Bio Media Pro offer the best colonisation conditions for the bacteria culturesthat remove ammonia and nitrite from your aquarium. Nitrates will also decrease in some systems.It will not affect PH and GH of water,provide consistent water chemistry.
