Aqua Clean 3D Filter Media - Alkali is One Year Old!
The AC 3D Filter Media - Alkali can effectively regulate the low pH situation in the fish tank, and it can raise the pH of the water from 6 to 8.5 when the filter media is placed in the fish tank.
Compared with other acid-suppressing filter media, it has the following three major advantages:
1. It will not disintegrate and pulverize in the process of neutralizing acidic water.
2. Transplanted the materials and technology of household Water Purifier, and the use of the effect is obvious.
3. Relatively longer service life.
The harm of acidic water to fish is multi-faceted, specifically including:
1. Respiratory damage: The low pH value in acidic water can directly harm the gill cells, leading to respiratory difficulties and even death of fish.
2. Skeletal dissolution: long-term acidic environment will dissolve the bones and teeth of fish.
3. Immunosuppression: Acidic environment will suppress the immune system of fish, making them more vulnerable to diseases.
Therefore, maintaining the acid-base balance of the water body is very important for protecting aquatic biodiversity and maintaining the stability of the water ecosystem.
